It's all about eating bugs! The world population is projected to grow 35% in the next 30 years placing huge strains on our capacity to increase food production. Africa just may have the answer! Long connoisseurs of termites and wooly worms, Africans may lead us into a sustainable tomorrow. Take a look at these comparisons:
Cows - consume 10 pounds of feed, require 200 square feet of pasture, 1,000 gallons of water and are only 40% edible.
Crickets - consume 1.7 pounds of feed, require 2 cubic feet of living space, 1 gallon of water and are 80% edible.
