A BIG Thank you!

The Christmas Zambia Project at the Woods Chapel Congregation was A Huge Success!

The kids’ Scavenger Hunts filled Shamba Huts to overflowing.  Quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies as well as paper money collected by the kids totaled $128.64.  Way to go kids!! Adding in jewelry, coffee, and card sales along with generous donations from the congregation, the grand total was $1708.61 — and that doesn’t count the Outreach jar.   The impact from this project is huge.  This will pay the salary of 2 teachers for a whole year, or buy 285 textbooks, or provide 14,233 hot lunches, or buy 1½ Zambulances (bicycle drawn carts) to transport ill people to the hospital.   What a meaningful Christmas present from Woods Chapel!  This demonstrates a truly a world-wide community that reaches around the world.
